Hello everyone, and welcome back to this month's edition of The Big Question. Health care and health-care-related expenses are becoming more and more exorbitant by the day. For many of our clients entering retirement, this is far and away their biggest line item and their biggest concern, which, as you might have guessed, takes us to this month's big question: what should I do about my health benefits?
Needless to say, when it comes to important decisions, it's often best to make them from a more fully informed position. Similar to your financial plan or your general retirement decision, we don't like to make these with partial information or a best-efforts guess. And while we don't always have that luxury when it comes to a health care plan, we feel there are certain steps we can take today to better position ourselves for good long-term outcomes.
For this reason, we partnered with Move Health, a platform designed specifically to serve financial advisory firms and their clients, to make more informed decisions that can lead to better outcomes. With Move Health, in a few simple steps, you walk away far more confident in your decision, and not just that, but with an actual road map for how to implement it.
The process is about as simple as one, two, three. You kick things off with an initial onboarding and analysis, inputting general information in a few minutes. From there, you work with us to schedule your call at a time that works best for your schedule. Then you participate in a 30-to-45-minute call with one of their experts, someone who talks about nothing but this all day. Better yet, if you're unable to ask all of your questions, get all the answers, or even just reach a general conclusion that day, these specialists are more than happy to schedule as many calls as you'd like. That means if a life event or a health event changes your picture, you just set up more time with them. We don't have to guess at something as important as this.
So, for those of you not yet there, perhaps still in your benefits plan through work, keep this on your radar. And for those of you who think this might be helpful, or who would just like a little bit of additional peace of mind that they're well squared away, let's set up time today. Thanks, everyone. Until next month.
